Psychiatric Clinic, Winterthur, ARBA Bioplan
Different white colours on daylight and shadow walls contour the architecture of this meeting room. Interesting elements within the ceiling become visible. The water blue colour, used in the relaxation room, implies an open sea view while lying in a sandy beach. A mango coloured clay wall in the doctor's office adds an natural heterogenous surface to the renovation of this attic floor. Every wall is painted in sustainable silicate colour by the colour system of BEECK.
SAND DUNE PATH
Harmony is an expression of emotional health. A harmonic room constitutes of a balanced symmetry of the surrounding. The play of colours in the corridor reminds us of a sandy path bordered by tall grasses with a line draw to represent the horizon.
Housing Block, Wildbachstrasse, Winterthur
To underline the architecture of the building the colour is varied. The back-grounds darker colour adds weight to the building's body whilst the lighter grey of the balconies makes them appear as an open drawer. The inner yellow peel provides a sunny view for the buildings residents. Click here!
Historical House, Gottfriedkellerstrasse, Winterthur, ARBA Bioplan
The idea of this colour concept is based in the earth's composition. The core, the crust and the atmosphere. Every layer has is own chromaticity. This historical building has three floors, corresponding to the three layers of the earth. The main colours used in the core floor are earthy brown, sandy yellow and strongly manganese violet. The second floor contains stone grey, ocean blue and pale shades of green. And the third floor, inhabited by the children, spectral colours appear like tender rose, bright blue and soft light green.
Photo Wallpaper, Berlin
This is a wallpaper project designed to show the colour system Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key, by mixing progressively the colours among themselves.
The design of this wallpaper is inspired by the graphic tile walls of the subway stations along the railroad line U7 in Berlin. A linear texture from outlined rhombuses, rues and rectangles ressembles a filigree lace dress.
